logo | brand
First, I developed the brand. I knew that I wanted Amity to feel lighthearted, collaborative, meaningful, and fun. I created this feeling by going with a colorful and interesting logo that fits together as a pyramid shape, representing the solid foundation of social skills that the game Amity will help build.

Next came the details of the game itself. After weeks of research interviewing teachers and looking over studies, I came up with the collaborative and friendly gameplay. Kids have to work together to make decisions to help get the two main characters, Chips and B.B, to their party. Each level teaches a lesson with the theme of empathy. Amity is simple and easy to play in a browser. The navigation is simple yet engaging, so it works for kids and adults.
video
One of the biggest and most important aspects of this project is the video. It explains how to use Amity while giving the viewers an idea of how necessary, beneficial, and fun the game can be. I had so much fun writing the script and animating everything to finally give Amity some real personality.
documentation
Since so much went into this semester long project, I summed it all up into one document. From the research to the character design, all of my thought process and decisions can be seen here!
